Around 1000 employees of NFC and CISF personnel participated in 5km Walkathon inside the NFC plant premises. The walkathon was lead by Dr. Komal Kapoor, Chairman and Chief Executive, NFC, and Senior Officers of NFC namely Shri N. Vijayaragavan, DCE(A&A), Dr. DS Setty-DCE, Shri Maruthi Ram-DCE, Shri Rajesh Kumar Chaube, DCE, Shri M. Shiva Kumar-DCE, Shri MRS Prasad, Dr.R.Murugaiah, CAO, Shri U.K. Arora, GM, Shri Rahul Singh Goutam, Commandant, CISF and the members of NFC Works Committee.
As per the theme of Swacchata Pakhwada – 2023, apart from general cleaning, the following activities were taken up in NFC during the fortnight of Swacchta Pakhwada from 16.2.2023 to 28.2.2023:
Segregation and disposal of scrap material
Display of safety and cleanliness related posters
Talks on Swacchta & environment
Development of greenery around the plants
Painting and Essay writing competitions on Swacchta
Removal of wild vegetation
Inaugurated today during the programme :
1) Plantation at Shredder Machine Area, near Swarna Jayanthi Udyaan
2) Inauguaration of Shredder Machine Area.
Dr.Komal Kapoor, CE, NFC in his speech has advised all the employees to observe the swachhata abhiyaan as a community event and always.
