CLEAN INDIA RANGAREDDY DISTRICT LEVEL COMMITTEE MEETING HELD

Hyderabad: Country is celebrating Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav as a part of commemoration of its 75th years of India’s Independence. This is to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and its glorious history, people, culture and achievements. Clean India Programme has been planned in the background of above context and with a view to mobilize public opinion and ensure involvement of citizen of the country to participate voluntarily in this nationwide drive of waste collection and their disposal.

In the context, a District level committee Meeting under the Chairmanship of the Addl.Collector (Revenue), Rangareddy has conducted to chalkout the Calender of activities for the month long program of Clean India by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangareddy district today at 12 Noon in the chambers of the Addl. Collector at Collectorate, Lakdikapool, Hyderabad.

The Addl. Collector Sri S. Thirupathi Rao instructed all Officers attended the meeting to cooperate the NYK by involving the Youth Clubs, SHGs, Sarpanchas and all Mandal level Officers in the district to conduct the Clean India Program in successful manner. He also instructed the District Youth Officer, T. Isaiah to circulate the schedule of activities in mandal level to all Officers attended for immediate action.

Dr. Manas KrishnaKanth, IIS Deputy Director, Regional Outreach Bureau suggested to involve the government Publicity wings to make the clean India program successful.

Officials and heads of the District departments and ROB Exhibition Assistant Ardha Srinivas Patel, Krishna Rao from NYK, Rangareddy were present in the review meeting.
