CM REVANTH REDDY GREETS MUSLIMS ON THE BEGINNING OF RAMZAN MONTH

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy extended greetings to the Muslim fraternity on the occasion of the beginning of the holy month of Ramzan with the sighting of the Crescent Moon today .

The Chief Minister said that Muslims recite their holy book of Quran, observe strict fasting , offer prayers, lead a disciplined life and give charity in the name of Zakat and Fitra to the poor during the month of Ramzan. “ The holy month of Ramzan inspires to adopt an ideal life” , the CM said, hoping that Muslims celebrate the month of Ramzan with happiness and seek the blessings of Allah through regular prayers. Regular fasting and divine prayers in the month of Ramzan will promote a disciplined lifestyle and spirituality, the Chief minister said.

CM Revanth Reddy said that the Ramzan festival also conveys the message of human service to all mankind and the Telangana state has set as the best example for the country in maintaining secularism and religious harmony. The Chief minister said that the state government is making sincere efforts for the upliftment of Muslim minorities. Adequate funds will be allocated for their welfare and development programmes and implement the schemes, the CM said in the message.
