EFLU’s Finishing School organises online workshop on Computer-Assisted Translation Tool

The Finishing School of The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), organised an online workshop on “Using Computer Assisted Translation Tool.”

The Resource Person, Mr. Etienne Tessier, Head of Consulting and Training Services, ATRIL Solutions, Lille, France, of the workshop explained various techniques aimed at familiarising the participants with the Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) Tool. He has thrown light on the recent developments in the field of translation technology as a part of his lecture at the online workshop.

The EFLU’s Finishing School, as mentored by Prof. E. Suresh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the EFLU, and Member, UGC, New Delhi, regularly organises various workshops and training programmes for its students with an objective to enhance their Leadership and Employability Skills.

The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and the Member, UGC, has appreciated the initiative of the EFLU’s Finishing School in organising various workshops and training programmes as envisioned by him to prepare the students for global level competition. Following the workshop, the participants had an interaction with the Resource Person, Mr, Tessier, who is also specialised in translation and localisation, on various aspects related to the Computer-Assisted Translation Tool, and broad areas like translation, technology, and localisation.
