Harvard faculty met Telangana CM

A delegation of faculty of Harvard University, USA led by Dr.Dominic Mao, Director PSIL-24 programme paid a courtesy call on CM Revanth Reddy on Thursday.

The Chief Minister suggested them to collaborate with the state government to conduct year long educational programmes for strengthening and enriching the residential schools in the state for the benefit of the poor students. The faculty informed the CM that a team of Harvard University with the support of Telangana School Education Department is conducting a 5 days Programme of Scientifically Inspired Leadership (PSIL-24) for 100 students of Class X and Class XI standard from government schools and 40 government high School English Teachers from all over the districts.

The training programme will be held from January 7th to 12 th at Osmania University. Principal Secretary Borra Venkatesham briefed the highlights of the programme to the CM. Vice Chancellor Prof. D. Ravinder, Commissioner A. Sree Devasena, Ms.Shefali Prakash, Dr. Andey Wright and others were present.
