Hyderabad: State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrassekhar Rao was conspiring to ensure victory of the Congress party in some assembly constituencies in the State. He also alleged that the CM was arranging money to their party candidates in 30 assembly constituencies with an intent to increase its graph in Telangana.
Speaking to media persons after taking part in the ongoing Maha Jan Sampark program held at Jaffupally village in Karimnagar rural mandal, Bandi Sanjay said their party was ready for a debate on the issue of the release of ₹5 lakh crore funds to Telangana State. He dared the CM KCR to hold a public debate on the funds spent by his government for the development of the State in his nine-year rule.
Commenting on the predictions of TPCC chief Revanth Reddy that the Congress party would get 45 assembly seats in the next assembly elections, Bandi termed the prediction as a big joke, he wondered as to how the Congress party, which lost deposits in all the by-elections held in the State and GHMC elections, would secure 45 assembly seats ? He alleged that both the ruling BRS party and the Congress were working together in all elections and added that the BRS party had extended its support to the Congress party in the recent Karnataka assembly elections.
Referring to the comments of the CM that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was his good friend, he wondered on which basis KCR, who is always scared of Modi, term him as his good Friend? He alleged that the Home Minister had insulted the women of the State. He wondered whether there was a home minister in Telangana State? Bandi Sanjay made it clear that BJP was not a party, which depends on its leaders. He said they were strengthening the party in such a manner that any leader of the party should win by showing the party’s symbol.
