” We have been asking the Centre for the transfer of defence lands to the State government for the last nine years but in vain. If the Centre transfers the land, we will take up the construction of skyways and other road infrastructure projects in Hyderabad. The Centre should encourage the Telangana State as Hyderabad city is growing rapidly,” KTR said. He also informed that they had requested the Centre to extend financial assistance for the expansion of the Metro Rail project in Hyderabad.
