Film actor Chiranjeevi on Thursday condemned the rape and murder of a minor girl at Saidabad as a dastardly act that should not be allowed to recur.
Taking to Twitter, he said ‘Let’s not allow such dastardly acts to recur and let’s do whatever it takes towards this goal’.
On the suspect Pallakonda Raju ending his life, Chiranjeevi tweeted: “Raju punishing himself after his heinous act against an innocent child comes as some relief to his family members. Civic society and media has reacted strongly to the incident of rape and murder and the civic society should join hands with the government to ensure such incidents do not repeat.”
