Members of Parliamentary Standing Committee on women empowerment participates in Green India Challenge

The members of the parliamentary standing committee on women empowerment led by Dr. Heena Gavit,
committee colleagues from both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha planted saplings at Prajwala rescue home today.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee was on their study tour. They participated in the Green India Challenge initiated by Rajya Sabha MP Joginpally Santosh Kumar on their visit to Hyderabad.

The members of the committee Jharna Das Baidya, Shardaben Anilbhai, Locket Chatterjee, Mamata Mohanta, Ramya Haridas, Maloth Kavitha, Saroj Pandey, Riti Pathak, Satabdi Roy, Gomati Sai, Sarmistha Sethi, Geetha Vanga, Vandana Chavan, Chhaya Verma and Queen Oja were part of the visit. They appreciated Santosh Kumar for his novel initiative and called upon all the Indians to Carry forward the Green India Challenge.

They felt that this efforts will surely increase greenery in our Nation. The Honourable MPs were presented with Vriksha Vedam book. TRS LS MP Maloth Kavitha co-ordinated the plantation along with the Green India Challenge Representative Raghava and others.
