NTPC-Ramagundam CSR-CD in association with Deepthi Mahila Samithi has distributed 63 bicycles to 8th class girl students of nearby 04 Govt. Schools on September 30, 2021.
At a programme held at EDC, Smt Usha Kumar,President, Deepthi Mahila Samithi distributed the bicycles and reiterated NTPC’s continuous support to promote education especially among girl students. With their bicycles now girls can attend faraway schools regularly and thus cycling the progress as well as empowerment, she added.
On this occasion, D S Kumar, DGM (HR&CSR) highlighted NTPC’s efforts in promotion of education as well as other activities in nearby villages.
Headmasters of the Govt Girls Schools, office bearers of Deepthi Mahila Samithi and CSR officials were present on the occasion.
