TOMCOM Partners with Career Consultz to Expand Overseas Jobs for Telangana Youth
Minister Dr G Vivek Venkatswamy Hands Over MoU; Skill Training, Language Coaching and Placements Planned in Six Countries
Hyderabad, July 22: In a significant step towards creating ethical, transparent and sustainable overseas employment opportunities for the youth of Telangana, the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM) has entered into a strategic partnership with Career Consultz. State Minister for Labour, Employment, Training & Factories and Mines & Geology, and TOMCOM Chairman Dr G Vivek Venkatswamy, officially handed over the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two organisations.
The agreement, signed by TOMCOM Managing Director Ms A. Nirmala Kanthi Wesley, IAS, and Career Consultz CEO Mr Meneni Rohith Rao, aims to significantly expand overseas employment opportunities for skilled youth from Telangana through ethical recruitment and international partnerships.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Dr Vivek Venkatswamy said the Telangana Government is committed to ensuring that young people have access to safe, transparent and sustainable global employment opportunities. He said the collaboration would strengthen the State’s efforts to connect skilled youth with quality jobs abroad while protecting their interests through ethical recruitment practices.
Under the partnership, aspiring candidates will receive skill development training, foreign language coaching, career counselling, interview preparation, documentation support, visa assistance, overseas placement, and post-placement services. The initiative will focus on employment opportunities in Japan, Germany, South Korea, Finland, Italy and Norway, where there is growing demand for skilled professionals.
The Minister noted that TOMCOM has already emerged as a key platform for facilitating overseas employment through government-supported skill development programmes and collaborations with international employers. He added that, under the administrative leadership of Ms A. Nirmala Kanthi Wesley, IAS, TOMCOM is further strengthening Telangana’s overseas employment ecosystem by promoting ethical recruitment and expanding global partnerships.
Representatives of Career Consultz said they were honoured to partner with TOMCOM in helping thousands of Telangana youth secure world-class employment opportunities. They expressed confidence that the collaboration would contribute to responsible international labour mobility while enabling young professionals to build successful global careers.
The event was attended by Manakondur MLA Kavvampalli Satyanarayana, TOMCOM General Manager Ms Nagabharathi, TOMCOM officials Shabana and Anil, Japan representative Ms Sayuri Matsuno, and representatives of Career Consultz.
