Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga program organised at RCI
Hyderabad: RCI, DRDO celebrated Amrit Mahotsav and organised Har Ghar Tiranga program on 13 Aug 2022 with enthusiastic participation from more than thousand employees of RCI. All employees assembled at the main gate carrying national flags. After paying tributes to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, the team participated in the Tiranga March carrying national flags and the entire surroundings of Vignyanakancha echoed with patriotic fervour.
The march concluded at Tiranga square where a new flagpost of 60 feet high was erected to commemorate the occasion. All employees cheered the occasion and participated with festive spirit. The national flag was hoisted by Shri U Raja Babu, Director RCI and he addressed the gathering highlighting the importance of the celebrations of 75th Independence Day and also summarised the year long activities conducted in RCI as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.
The freedom fighters were remembered for their sacrifices and the commitment of all citizens in nation building was emphasised.In the second half, a cultural program consisting of wide variety of patriotic events were conducted in RCI community hall with large gathering from RCI township. Director, RCI has appreciated all the participants of cultural program and felicitated them. Program got concluded with national anthem.
