Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Labour Minister Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy Invited to G20 SWFI in USA
Hyderabad, June 18: In a significant recognition of Telangana’s growing stature as a global investment destination, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Labour, Employment, Training, Factories, Mines and Geology Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy have been invited to participate in the G20 Sovereign Wealth Fund Investment Week, scheduled to be held in Dallas, Texas, USA, from August 31 to September 4, 2026.
The high-level invitation was extended by Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute (SWFI) Chairman Mr. Lakshminarayanan in alignment with the strategic priorities of the United States’ G20 Presidency. The invitation reflects growing international recognition of Telangana’s progressive governance, investor-friendly policies, industrial growth and expanding economic opportunities.
A delegation from the SWFI called on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and formally extended the invitation to participate in the global event. The invitation to both the Chief Minister and Minister Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy underscores Telangana’s increasing prominence on the global investment map.
The G20 Sovereign Wealth Fund Investment Week will bring together senior policymakers, sovereign wealth funds, public pension funds, central banks, endowments and leading global asset managers representing more than USD 10 trillion in assets under management across over 50 institutional investor categories.
The event will provide a unique platform for engaging directly with some of the world’s largest institutional investors and global capital allocators. It will facilitate discussions on strategic investment opportunities in infrastructure, industrial development, mining, technology, skill development and sustainable growth sectors.
The forum will also offer opportunities for high-level policy dialogue on global investment trends, capital mobility and emerging economic opportunities, while helping accelerate bilateral and multilateral investment partnerships.
Participation in the event is expected to further enhance Telangana’s visibility among global investors and contribute to attracting long-term investments into key sectors, supporting the State’s vision for inclusive economic growth, industrial expansion, employment generation and sustainable development.
