NTPC Ramagudam under CSR-CD in association with Deepthi mahila Samithi under the presence of Smt Mamta Laad, Smt Urja Desai and Smt Padmasree inaugurated three months Computer Training program for the youth of the surrounding villages.The main aim of the initiative is to empower the unemployed youth through self employment and skilled development by computer training programme. Under this initiative 50 youths of project affected villages are being trained for a period of three months comprising of Diploma in Computer Application (DCA)Course and Tally ERP 9.0.
The three months training is imparted through Central Computer Information Technology CCIT, Ramagundam .The course is affiliated from Department of Employment & Training Govt of Telangana (DOE & T). The course curriculum is prepared to meet the market need and develop the employability of youth, so that they can be absorbed in the industry or make their own business for self employment.
Speaking on the occasion Smt Urja Desai Vice President, lauded the efforts made by CSR Department and Deepthi mahila Samithi for development of socio-economic condition of the affected villages. Further she added “This is the age of Information Technology (IT) and we need to accept the advancement of technology so that we can maintain our pace with age”. Smt Mamta Laad, Senior member DMS, Smt Padmasree,Incharge Welfare,Shri Bijoy Kumar Sikdar AGM-HR, Smt B.Suhasini General Secretary DMS and office bearers of DMS were present on the occasion along with the officials of the HR Department.
