TOMCOM, Global Nurse Force Sign MoU to Boost Overseas Jobs for Telangana Nurses
Government to provide specialised training and facilitate placements in Germany, Japan, Israel and other countries; Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy directs officials to fast-track recruitment process
Hyderabad, July 20: The Telangana Government has taken a major step towards creating large-scale overseas employment opportunities for experienced nurses by strengthening its international placement initiatives through the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company (TOMCOM). As part of this effort, TOMCOM signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Global Nurse Force on Monday in the presence of Minister for SHAKTI (Labour, Employment, Training & Factories) and Mines & Geology, Dr. G. Vivek Venkatswamy.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said there is a rapidly growing demand for skilled Indian healthcare professionals across Europe and several other countries, and Telangana is well-positioned to meet this demand through its skill development and overseas employment programmes.
He directed officials to expedite the process of identifying eligible nurses across the state, conducting interviews, providing specialised training in line with international standards, and facilitating overseas placements through TOMCOM.
Under the partnership between TOMCOM and Global Nurse Force, nursing professionals will receive comprehensive support in German and other foreign language training, clinical communication, interview preparation, visa assistance, licensing, and overseas placement services. The initiative aims to create quality employment opportunities in Germany, Japan, Israel, and several other countries.
Dr. Vivek said the overseas employment programme should serve the interests of both Telangana and the host countries by supplying highly skilled and professionally trained healthcare personnel. He urged Global Nurse Force to maintain the highest standards in training and ensure candidates are fully equipped to meet international healthcare requirements. He also instructed officials to closely monitor the quality of training and placement processes.
Highlighting the expanding opportunities in the global healthcare sector, the Minister said the increasing interest among experienced nurses as well as fresh nursing graduates in pursuing international careers is a positive development. He added that TOMCOM has emerged as a trusted platform connecting Telangana’s skilled nursing professionals with rewarding overseas employment opportunities.
