6ft Tall Real Flowers Bathukamma first time ever in USA
California: Telangana American Telugu Association TTA Bay Area Chapter in association with Festival of Globe – FOG Silicon Valley Dr. Romesh Japra, Rajesh Verma and Mahesh Pakala celebrated Biggest Bathukamma Event in Fremont at 29th Festival of India – Diwali Celebrations, over 3000 people attended the festival where only fully vaccinated attendees were allowed and they were from different walks of life.
The event was attended by many dignitaries right from Assemblymen’s, City Mayors, Police Commissioners, and Fremont City Officials.
Ambassador Dr. Nagendra Prasad, Consul General of India, San Francisco was the Chief Guest and being from State of Telangana in this highest position attended this gigantic event and thoroughly enjoyed this biggest Bathukamma festival ever done in the history of USA by any organization.
Speaking on this occasion “Dr. Nagendra Prasad appreciated the organizers and Telangana American Telugu Association Bay Area Chapter for portraying the real Telangana Culture on this auspicious Navratri and Bathukamma festival”.
District 25th California Assembly Member Mr. Alex Lee applauded and presented a commendation certificate of recognition to Telangana American Telugu Association in recognition for promoting, proliferating, passing Telangana Culture and Heritage to the next generations in USA through the community service participation’s. Many dignitaries Mayor City of Fremont Ms. Lily Mei, City Council Members Teresa Keng, Raj Salwan appreciated the works of Telangana American Telugu Association. Dr. Romesh Japra, Chairman FIA, Shri. Rajesh Verma, President FIA, Shri. Mahesh Pakala FOG applauded the works and floral Bathukamma arrangements by TTA Bay Area Team. Speaking Mr. Srinivasa Manapragada, General Secretary Telangana American Telugu Association and Cultural Ambassador recognized by Governors Office appreciated the support of FOG Silicon Valley TeNA on their valuable support to TTA since its inception in 2015 to till today.
Manapragada mentioned that every year they will partner with FOG SV to do many such Telangana Events to proliferate the Telangana Culture, Heritage and Tradition. Speaking on the occasion Amith Reddy TTA Regional Vice President said it was great pleasure working with FOG Team in sharing such great festivities with the community and people coming from different local Indian organizations participating in such events. And promised to do more and more events from TTA.

A song Telangana Bathukamma was released by Anchor Haritha and played on the occasion.
