Minister Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy Visits Injured in Crane Accident
Hyderabad, April 28:
State Labour and Mines Minister G. Vivek Venkatswamy visited the victims injured in the crane accident near Shankarpally and enquired about their health condition.
In the incident that occurred on Monday, five migrant workers lost their lives, while 12 others sustained injuries. According to officials, a construction crane belonging to NCC Limited collapsed onto a shed due to strong winds. At the time, several workers had taken shelter inside the shed to escape the rain. The crane fell on them, killing five workers on the spot and leaving 12 others with fractures and serious injuries.
The Minister, along with MLA Kale Yadaiah, visited the hospital and reviewed the treatment being provided to the injured. He also directed officials to submit a detailed report on the incident.
Dr. Vivek Venkatswamy stated that the government is committed to extending all possible assistance to the families of the victims.
