Praneetha EcoCables Begins Commercial Operations; Full Plant Operations Near Commissioning
First batch of bare copper wire dispatched from Sanand facility; solar cables to be manufactured from October and building wires and flexible cables from November
Ahmedabad, September 22: Praneetha EcoCables Limited, a wires and cables manufacturing company, has commenced commercial production at its greenfield manufacturing facility in Sanand, near Ahmedabad, with the dispatch of its first batch of bare copper wire.
The company plans to commence full-scale production of solar cables in October, followed by building wires and flexible cables in November. Additional product categories will be introduced in a phased manner. The company has also launched a nationwide campaign to establish its dealership network.
Spread across 30 acres, the greenfield manufacturing facility is nearing full commissioning. Praneetha EcoCables had laid the foundation stone for the facility in September 2025. Over the past year, construction and infrastructure development have progressed steadily, with advanced manufacturing machinery sourced from Europe, China, Turkey and India being installed at the plant.

The company will source 100 per cent of its primary copper requirements from Kutch Copper Limited, part of the Adani Group. According to the company, this will ensure copper purity levels of 99.97 per cent and above across its product portfolio. The integrated “Mine-to-Market” approach is aimed at delivering consistency, reliability and long-term performance across its products.
The first production batch of bare copper wire was dispatched on September 20. The company also conducted a Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the newly built temple on the manufacturing facility premises in the presence of key stakeholders.
India’s wire and cable industry, currently valued at more than ₹1 lakh crore, is expected to expand further in the coming years, driven by infrastructure development, renewable energy expansion, urbanisation and digitalisation. The sector is projected to reach approximately ₹1.6 lakh crore by 2030, creating opportunities for manufacturers focused on quality, technology and innovation.
With its Sanand facility nearing full commissioning and production of multiple product categories scheduled to begin in the coming months, Praneetha EcoCables aims to strengthen its presence in India’s growing wires and cables market.
