Pulse Pharmaceuticals Secures DCGI Approval for Nano-Carrier Entrapped Vitamin D3 Delivery
Hyderabad, August 20: Pulse Pharmaceuticals has received regulatory approval from the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) for its innovative Nano-Carrier Entrapped Vitamin D3 Oral Dispersion, marking a significant development in advanced drug-delivery technology.
The company said the approval follows a stringent scientific and regulatory evaluation of its pioneering nanocarrier technology for Vitamin D3 delivery.
Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, K.V. Rambabu, Founder and Managing Director of Pulse Pharmaceuticals, said the company had successfully secured regulatory approval for its technology. He stated that the approval could potentially be the first of its kind in the world for a nanocarrier-based Vitamin D3 delivery system.
According to the company, the technology is designed to use nanocarriers to facilitate the oral delivery of Vitamin D3. The regulatory clearance represents an important step in translating advanced pharmaceutical research into a regulated product intended for patient use.
Rambabu said the approval demonstrates the company’s commitment to innovation in pharmaceutical research and drug-delivery systems. The development is expected to strengthen the role of nanotechnology in improving the delivery of pharmaceutical formulations.
Pulse Pharmaceuticals described the approval as a major milestone, as it bridges the gap between laboratory-based nanopharmaceutical research and commercially regulated, patient-ready products.
The company believes that its nanocarrier technology could open new possibilities in the development and delivery of Vitamin D3 formulations and contribute to the broader advancement of innovative pharmaceutical technologies in India.
