₹15 Crore Boost for Narsapur DevelopmentMinister Vivek Venkataswamy Reaffirms Commitment to Public Welfare
Hyderabad, April 26: State Labour and Mines Minister Dr. Gaddam Vivek Venkataswamy laid the foundation stone for various development works worth ₹15 crore in Narsapur Municipality of Medak district. He stated that a special municipal meeting has been convened and a structured plan is being implemented to ensure comprehensive development of the town.
The Minister undertook an extensive tour of Narsapur Municipality on Saturday. On the occasion, Narsapur MLA Sunitha Laxma Reddy, MLC Anjireddy, District Collector Pratima Singh, Municipal Chairperson Lakshmi Raj Yadav, along with other public representatives and officials, participated in the program.
As part of the visit, the Minister attended housewarming ceremonies of Indiramma housing scheme beneficiaries in Wards 4 and 6. He inaugurated the houses by performing rituals along with the beneficiary families, including Duddala Durgamma and Mohammed Shakeera Begum.
Later, in Narayanpur village, the Minister launched the “Badibata” (school enrollment drive) program as part of the 99-day Praja Palana Pragati initiative. He emphasized increasing student enrollment, noting that quality education is being provided free of cost in government schools.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister said that public welfare is the primary objective of the government and urged that development benefits should reach all sections beyond political differences. He directed public representatives to proactively identify and resolve drinking water issues during the summer. He added that consistent engagement with people and a service-oriented approach would yield better results.
The Minister also stressed that every public representative must responsibly serve the people and that newly elected members should coordinate with officials to resolve public issues effectively. He reiterated that the government is taking strong measures to strengthen the education system.
Tahsildars, district officials, public representatives, and local leaders also participated in the program.
